Understanding Versal: Versal vs. Zynq MPSoC - WEBINAR

This is the first webinar of a series of PLC2 webinars: Understanding Versal. This session will have a look from the architecture side and the portfolio when we are comparing the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC family with Versal ACAP. As many new features exist with Versal ACAP it is hard to make a 1:1 comparison but when describing the differences, it will be helpful for developers getting the added value for new product development or planning a project migration.
We still have a MPSoC processing system and programmable logic with Versal ACAP but a more heterogeneous platform with improved DSP engines, networking on-chip and off-chip, higher performances and AIE engines. We also have a look to the product portfolio describing and explaining the differentiations of Versal Prime, Versal AIE and Versal Premium series. Understanding the platform and power management, the boot flow and the development tool support is as well.
