Professional SDSoC

Frankfurt / Freiburg / Frankfurt / Freiburg / Frankfurt

XILINX SDx tools such as SDSoC enable software developers to outsource code-generated C/C++ functions on FPGA-based architecture.
Acceleration of C/C++ application on XILINX ZYNQ has never been easier!
SDSoC is the latest development tool of XILINX which enables outsourcing C/C++ functions of a ZYNQ SoC/ MPSoC project into hardware for acceleration.
This workshop combines the 2-days XILINX SDSoC workshop with the methods of performance optimization to improve the quality of the hardware acceleration. SDSoC implements DMA and S/W drivers for the communication between Processor and hardware accelerator. Attendees will learn how to use the hardware and software generation processes using the XILINX SDSoC tool.
In the second part of the workshop, the optimization methods will be explained and analyzed, synthesized and the exercises will be covered in practical exercises and the speed gain of hardware acceleration is determined. After the training attendees will be able to identify functions in there C/C++ projects which are good candidates for hardware acceleration and to optimizing the grade of acceleration.
The last topic describes the XILINX reVISION Stack and how it enables application developers to quickly develop applications based on machine learning or computer vision.
