FPGA Designer - long term training
PLC2 GmbH turns engineers and technicians into FPGA experts. Our three-month training program imparts the know-how for the entire development process - part-time, alongside work. At the end of the training course the participants are able to develop FPGAs independently.
The concept
The concept of the long-term training is based on a step-by-step education of the participants. Starting with the architecture as well as the basics of FPGA circuitry, the underlying agenda includes the complete FPGA development process.
The course program consists of a coordinated combination of theory and practice. Participants learn to design and implement their own FPGA designs in small groups. The training lasts 12 weeks divided into presence units at PLC2 GmbH on site and further training at the workplace . The eight attendance units of two days each take place at the PLC2 training center in Freiburg.
Theoretical units are supplemented by exercises and own FPGA developments. Exercises and self-directed FPGA developments are a central part of the training. With training kits and comprehensive training documents (included in the course fee), the participants deepen what they have learned at home. Of course, our trainers will also support you between the classroom sessions and are available to answer questions.
The prerequisites
Both engineers and technicians can attend the training course. The only prerequisite for the long-term training is experience in the field of electronics. Experience in hardware description languages or circuitry is an advantage but not a requirement. If you have any questions, we will be pleased to help you.
