In 13 years designing of complex high-speed digital boards at well-known companies in the broadcast industry, he becomes an expert for real-time data processing based on CPLD and FPGA technology. He contribute to the success becoming market leader with very successful products like telecine and video Mixer.

He also was responsible in developing board level test jigs allowing very flexible system tests under real time conditions (> 100 MHz) as well as Boundary Scan tests.

Since October 2001, Mr. Wehlage is leading the PLC2 office in the area of central Germany. Mainstream task beneath training and education is FPGA design and support under customer contract.
